Electric Motor
is a rotating device that transforms electrical energy into mechanical energy and vice versa, operating as a generator or dynamo. As an example the traction motors used on locomotives often perform both tasks, if they are equipped with brakes dynamo. For these reasons they are widely used in industrial and other applications requiring autonomy from the power source, since electricity is difficult to store. In proportion to the energy of a battery equals the number of pounds containing 80 g of gas.
The Advantages of an electric motor are:-A
equal power, size and weight are smaller.
"You can build any size.
"He has a high torque and, depending on engine type constant.
"His performance is very high (typically around 80%, increasing as it increases the power of the machine).
Motor Direct Current (DC)
When a conductor through which flows a current is placed under the influence of a magnetic field is induced on it a force that is perpendicular to both the magnetic field lines as to the direction of current flow. But in the rotor cc engine there is only one driver but many. If you include other driver just across the
Motor Alternating Current (AC)
One of the characteristics of an AC motor is the number of rotor poles. This information will automatically give the number of windings on the engine. # windings = # poles x 2 . The motor windings have a split into two groups. A group A and one B. All windings of each group are connected in series, forming two windings. These two windings differ if the voltage that feeds are shifted 90 °. This gap is accomplished with a capacitor.
As in the rotor poles and stator are fixed polarity of the fields varies, the fixed poles of the rotor, all follow the polarity stator windings. There will be effects of attraction and repulsion of magnetic fields that cause the rotation of the rotor. As the stator supply voltage is periodic, then the movement of the rotor is the periodic variation of supply voltage and consequently the rotation speed is constant.
